Veneto Tennis Club is committed to providing a respectful, safe, and professional environment for all members and guests. Below are our official club rules and policies
📌 General Rules
Club facilities are for members and their registered guests only.
Respect all club property at all times.
Shirts and proper non-marking tennis shoes must be worn on and off court.
Only proper tennis attire is allowed while playing.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed on premises.
Dispose of garbage and recycling in provided bins.
Avoid cell phone use on the courts during play.
Abusive language or disruptive behavior is not tolerated.
No smoking or chewing gum on club property or courts.
🎾 Tennis Rules & Etiquette
Enter courts only after the second buzzer; use the back walkway for washroom or court changes.
Leave the court promptly at the second buzzer to allow smooth transitions.
When retrieving or returning balls to other courts, wait for a break in play.
Be respectful of your opponent, partner, and nearby players — keep voices low.
Only 4 players allowed per court (unless in a club-sanctioned activity).
No baskets of balls allowed unless practicing serves solo or coaching staff.
Spectators must stay in designated viewing areas.
Tennis shoes must be non-marking; use provided shoe bags and brushes.
All players must check in and pay at the reception before court use.
Report any disputes to the front desk.
🏟 Court Usage Rules
Max 4 players per court.
Max 6 balls unless solo serve practice or with a club coach.
No outside coaching allowed.
Personal items must not be left behind; lockers are available for rent.
📆 Court Booking Policy
Book online, by phone, or in person.
Adult members: up to 7 days in advance.
Junior members: up to 5 days in advance.
Max 2-hour bookings; max 4 hours/week during prime time.
Bookings are first-come, first-serve.
Names of all players must be listed when booking.
A signed waiver is required before participating.
The first name listed on the court booking is the primary owner and is responsible for all unpaid fees and guest charges.
📋 Guest Policy
Guest bookings without a member are prohibited.
Guest fee: $20/adult - Winter, $10/adult Summer; $10/junior - all year
Max 2 guest visits/month per guest.
Members may bring up to 2 guests/month.
Member must be present on court the entire time.
Former VTC coaches/employees may not attend as guests.
❌ Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
No-shows or late cancellations will be charged.
Private lessons cancelled within 24 hours are non-refundable.
All payments must be made by credit or debit only.
🧒 Junior Membership Policy
All junior members must be enrolled in a Veneto or ATI junior program to renew.
Registered players may be removed from any program/league if skill level is deemed unsuitable.
